Ebrahim Pourfaraj – Founder and Managing Director

Ebrahim Pourfaraj established Pasargad Tours Company in 1987. His prominent role in Iran’s tourism industry especially in incoming tours is undeniable which has made him one of the pioneers in this industry. His credentials include hotel management, MBA degree in tourism, and Head of Iran Tour Operators Association. He has played a significant role in promoting sustainable tourism in Iran. His leadership has been instrumental in bringing together public and private sectors to work closely and in alignment with each other to introduce the full potential of Iran to the world.

Hamidreza Pourfaraj – Executive Manager

For over seven years Hamidreza has been helping Pasargad-Tours to achieve its goals flawlessly. As the Executive Manager, his efforts are mostly focused on Operation Department activities. He makes sure everything goes as smoothly as possible in HR section while keeping an eye on the staff rewarding system which makes him quite popular among employees. Apart from his executive management responsibilities, he has a good network of connections around the world, so he is in charge of giving council to the CEO on the company’s foreign activities and policies.

Parvaneh joined Pasargad Tours back in 1995, initially as a national guide backed by her deep love of Iran. In this context she conducted several inspection trips to the four corners of the country in order to include many of the less-visited important sites in itineraries. She consequently led many cultural groups from the UK, USA and Australian universities and museums. She had spent several years in the UK and studied Administration and Business Studies and obtained certificates from Pittman College and The London School of Foreign Trade. Her long career in commercial companies enabled her to undertake the position of Marketing and Planning Director of Pasargad Tours where she developed new markets. Her vibrant personality and good public relations enabled Parvaneh to establish very close and friendly relations with our long-standing partners.

Alenoush joined Pasargad Tours in 1997 and was passionate about Iran and its varied wonders. Having just graduated from the university with a BA degree in English translation and very keen to learn, a professional team who were instrumental in her rapid success and promotion welcomed her. She combines her knowledge and trip planning expertise to create remarkable experiences, and send back travelers excited about their adventure. She is known for her loyalty, integrity, and attention to detail, enabling her to undertake complex projects such as coordinating private train journeys in Iran.

Bahereh Mirmahdi - Operations Director

Bahereh joined Pasargad Tours 27 years ago. She is highly qualified in tour administration as she has graduated from university as a hospitality specialist. She is responsible for The Operation Department consisting of 10 very professional members. The main services they work on are getting on-arrival visas, booking hotels, coordinating airport transfers, booking domestic flights, assigning appropriate drivers for tours and corresponding with some governmental organizations to get entrance admissions to the protected areas, providing arrival and departure CIP services, examining hotels to choose the best with full amenities for hosting tourists in different cities. She has played an important role in implementing our tours and has been part of some very famous ones such as eclipse tour, Rally tour of Beijing to Paris (Iran part), Japanese music in Persepolis, and holding January nights.

Amir Bahrami - Asst. Operations Director

Amir has been working at Pasargad Tours since 2014. He is responsible for coordinating different phases of tour operation mainly in regard to transportation. He graduated from the university with a BA degree in English Translation. He also has a Technical Managing license from Iran Ministry of Tourism, enabling him to have a deeper insight on rate of tourists’ satisfaction. Amir’s high level of responsibility is one of his outstanding abilities that has grown a sense of trust among his colleagues who work directly with him. He is very smart in handling transportation services which is truly crucial in order to create a perfect travelling experience. Since he joined the company, he has made efforts to improve the quality of transportation services bringing in more positive feedbacks.

Ali is The Chief Accounting Officer with more than 24 years of experience and dedicated time in Pasargad Tours that has turned him into one of the key forces of the company. who is very experienced in his specialized field. Like any other professional accountant he, too, is quite serious about every little financial procedure happening in the company, keeping track of all payments and receipts and being in touch with our Marketing staff to be aware of the exact period payments are made to be able to trace the money and in cases of crisis, contact the intermediary banks. He informs the Marketing Department about receiving any payments before arrival of the groups. He also deals with all the internal payments for services provided in Pasargad Tours for our clients such as on-time payment to hotels, on arrival visas, transportations, restaurants, Entrance fees, etc.

Just like Ali, Mandana joined Pasargad in 1996. She graduated from the university with a BA degree in Accounting; she plays an important role in classifying financial files related to different partners that work with Pasargad Tours. She has created a very organized archive of our partners and this has helped us to have access to a specific file without wasting time especially when we are looking for our partners’ debts or credit history.

Ali joined Pasargad Tours in 1997. He has had a long career as a tour guide in Iran and as a tour manager leading groups abroad. From 1998, he became involved in training guides at Pasargad Tours and at guide schools. He has sat many courses in various subjects such as Architecture of Iran, Ancient Culture and Languages of Persia, Art Studies. He has also co-authored “Iran, A Chronological History” in English and authored “Special English for Guides”. He has also written a number of articles on the Persian Garden, Persian Ceramics, and Persian Pottery. During the past two decades, together with colleagues at the Education and research Department, he has run numerous courses in promoting guide competence that have included seminars and lectures running into the few hundred. The Education Department has also conducted numerous trips to familiarize new guides with all tourist attractions featured in our tours and to raise their level of expertise.
