Ebrahim Pourfaraj established Pasargad Tours Company in 1987. His prominent role in Iran’s tourism industry especially in incoming tours is undeniable which has made him one of the pioneers in this industry. His credentials include hotel management, MBA degree in tourism, Head of Iran Tour Operators Association, and vice-president of Iranian E-Tourism Association. He has played a significant role in promoting sustainable tourism in Iran. His leadership has been instrumental in bringing together public and private sectors to work closely and in alignment with each other to introduce the full potential of Iran to the world.

Hamidreza Pourfaraj – Business Operations Manager

For over seven years Hamidreza has been helping Pasargad-Tours to achieve its goals flawlessly. As the business operations manager, his efforts are mostly focused on Operation Department activities. He makes sure everything goes as smoothly as possible in HR section while keeping an eye on the staff rewarding system which makes him quite popular among employees. Apart from his operation management responsibilities, he has a good network of connections around the world, so he is in charge of giving council to the CEO on the company’s foreign activities and policies.

Parvaneh joined Pasargad Tours back in 1995, initially as a national guide backed by her deep love of Iran. In this context she conducted several inspection trips to the four corners of the country in order to include many of the less-visited important sites in itineraries. She consequently led many cultural groups from the UK, USA and Australian universities and museums. She had spent several years in the UK and studied Administration and Business Studies and obtained certificates from Pittman College and The London School of Foreign Trade. Her long career in commercial companies enabled her to undertake the position of Marketing and Planning Director of Pasargad Tours where she developed new markets. Her vibrant personality and good public relations enabled Parvaneh to establish very close and friendly relations with our long-standing partners.

Alenoush joined Pasargad Tours in 1997 and was passionate about Iran and its varied wonders. Having just graduated from the university with a BA degree in English translation and very keen to learn, a professional team who were instrumental in her rapid success and promotion welcomed her. She combines her knowledge and trip planning expertise to create remarkable experiences, and send back travelers excited about their adventure. She is known for her loyalty, integrity, and attention to detail, enabling her to undertake complex projects such as coordinating private train journeys in Iran.

Ali joined Pasargad Tours in 1997. He has had a long career as a tour guide in Iran and as a tour manager leading groups abroad. From 1998, he became involved in training guides at Pasargad Tours and at guide schools. He has sat many courses in various subjects such as Architecture of Iran, Ancient Culture and Languages of Persia, Art Studies. He has also co-authored “Iran, A Chronological History” in English and authored “Special English for Guides”. He has also written a number of articles on the Persian Garden, Persian Ceramics, and Persian Pottery. During the past two decades, together with colleagues at the Education and research Department, he has run numerous courses in promoting guide competence that have included seminars and lectures running into the few hundred. The Education Department has also conducted numerous trips to familiarize new guides with all tourist attractions featured in our tours and to raise their level of expertise.
