Traveling to Iran facilitated for tourists after COVID-19

Iranian ministry of health has facilitated the entry of tourists to Iran by reducing two entry conditions to only one. Now tourists over 12 years of age can easily enter the Islamic Republic of Iran if they have either of the following documents in English:

Double vaccination card (second dose taken at least 14 days before arrival)

Negative PCR test (taken within 72 hours before arrival)

Traveling to Iran facilitated

Formerly, all foreigners and Iranians had to present both vaccination card and the negative PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to arrival.

Iran is now among the safest countries in the world regarding COVID-19 as more than 80% of the population have been fully vaccinated.
